Customer.io UI Overhaul

Soon after joining Customer.io, I was tasked with leading a large overhaul of the user interface and user experience. It took the form of a full refresh, and included the introduction of new Navigation, Universal Search, as well as the introduction of the company’s AI Agent.
The dashboard overhaul brought in new data visualizations, as well as integrated Agent flows.
The Customer.io Agent was built from the ground up to help users with complex campaign flows, content creation, and analytics.
A new homepage experience gave users a quick overview of their progress, as well as contextual AI prompts for their tasks.
An overhaul of Analytics included a better system cohesion, brand alignment, and easy stats to read at a glance.
How did The Refresh land?
The proof is in the results. Key metrics like user satisfaction rose substantially after launch, while complaints and confusion plummeted.
