Glacier
I spent a week visiting Glacier National Peace Park, which extends northward from Montana up into the Canadian province of Alberta. The area received a record snowfall this past season, and the creeks, streams and rivers were high and fast. Well, it’s here. The season that provokes a lot of emotion. Some hate the cold with a passion, and have taken great pains to move to warm climates, never to return to snow. Snowpocalypse!
Seriously, wow. We here in the typically drizzly Pacific NW have been put into a snowglobe and shaken. The biggest snowstorm in 40 years has left us with a blanket of white. The lack of proper snow removal has shut the city down pretty extensively. Check out my Flickr Gallery here! Read More
